Prepared for Her Purpose
Kelisa Volson is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (Cum laude honors) and Master of Arts degree in General Counseling and Guidance. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor for the state of GA . She is also an international Anger Management Specialist.
With over 10 years of extensive experience in the field of mental health, Kelisa provides group and individual therapy while working with both children and adults from varying ages and backgrounds. She also has provided supervision both on job sites and individually for interns and colleagues.
Kelisa has also worked with agencies that provide supportive housing, community counseling, outpatient services for adults with severe and chronic mental illness, tele-mental health and those that provide assessment for schools, disability and Social Security benefits.
Her passion is educating, motivating and inspiring change in the lives of others especially those impacted by ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders).
In her personal life, Kelisa enjoys encouraging others, listening to music, singing, traveling, bargain shopping, and spending time with her family—(“Silas Men”: her husband, Silas, Jr. and son, Silas Keytrae)
